An appropriated version of Tarantino’s 1994 classic, Pulp Fiction. While the image sequence and soundtrack remain intact, the DVD’s roughly 231,000 frames are algorithmically recalculated and abstracted in Processing. Replacing the visual layer with elementary graphic forms transforms the viewing experience: realism and explicit detail recede, while dialogue and soundtrack come to the fore.
